Chief Operating Officer (COO)

In only a couple of years, crosspaint has become one of the leading educational providers of the German evangelical scene. While in the past we relied on learning-by-doing, we are now looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and improve crosspaint’s ongoing operations and introduce our offer to the US.

You’ll have to maintain control of diverse operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. If you also have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to talk to you.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement strategies, plans and procedures
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Establish policies that promote culture and vision
  • Oversee daily operations of the non-profit 
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
  • Participate in expansion activities (especially the US, UK)
  • Manage relationships with partners

Requirements

  • A passion for the Bible and Jesus Christ
  • Native English Speaker
  • 10+ years' experience in management
  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role
  • Start-up experience 
  • Excellent written, oral and client-facing communication skills
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Experience in fundraising will be a plus
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure 
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal
  • Can-Do Attitude and positive personality 
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
  • Good knowledge of evangelical Bible doctrine 
Work Details
  • Beginning: November 1, 2020
  • Reporting to: Natha (CEO)
  • Compensation: Salary varies depending upon experience
  • Location: Virtual office possible (starting with a visit in Switzerland and 1 visit per month) 
  • Work hours: This can start as a part-time position with the goal to become full-time.
